Every little star gets their chance to shine!

Lisa and her team make sure that every pupil is treated individually so that everyone achieves their full potential. But most of all, the emphasis is on enjoyment and the love of dance.

Happy Atmosphere!

Pupils enjoy learning in a happy, family atmosphere, whilst gaining confidence, making new friends and having lots of fun.

Performance

Students have many opportunities to perform. We have Open Evenings for parents and friends, charity fund raising events, plus a chance to show off their talent in our spectacular productions at The Palace Theatre in Mansfield, and at Create Theatre on Derby Road.

Great Prospects

Many dancers from the Lisa Gail Theatre School have furthered their training and gone on to appear professionally on stage and television, or have become teachers of Theatre Dance.

Fully Qualified

We are fully qualified members and teachers of the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) syllabi, and examination sessions are held regularly for grade and medal tests. The school is very proud of their 100% pass rate, with most students achieving the highest attainment bands.

Testimonials

Don’t just take our word for it – you can read reviews from parents and pupils below…

  • I am very proud to say I have been a member of Lisa's adult tap class for over 25 years. I have been involved in many, many shows, this meant lots of hard work, and of course endless fun and laughter. The quality and standard of the shows have always been outstanding. I personally have made many wonderful and loyal friends through my dancing and look forward each week to our class and seeing everyone.

  • I would highly recommend the Lisa Gail theatre school, since joining my daughter has grown in confidence, but most of all she has lots of fun." I too have dusted of my dancing shoes and joined in with the enjoyment by attending the adult lessons. The staff are professional and friendly which creates a good learning environment.

  • Since joining Lisa Gail's dance studio, my daughter has grown in confidence, and her dancing has developed beautifully. She is supportively pushed to be the best she can be, encouraged to complete dance exams when she is ready and loves the opportunities that being a member of Lisa Gail's brings. I am hugely grateful for the professional and amazing teachers that teach my daughter for her dance and musical theatre lessons.

  • I have been part of this fabulous dance school for about 15 years. Both my boys and myself have enjoyed the camaraderie and excitement involved in learning to dance for the exams and shows we have been part of. As a member of the ladies tap class I feel a great sense of pride belonging to a dance school that is complimented again, and again for its professionalism, the performances given and the respect all the members give when working amongst the community.

Claire Qui Bell Parent and Pupil
  • Over the past three years my development, particularly in Dance, is due to my attendance at Lisa Gail's Theatre School. The reason for this is because I find lessons constructive, challenging and interesting, pushing me to reach my potential as a performer. Not only are the teachers at the school very talented and able to guide each child in the right direction to achieve more as a dancer/actor/singer. They also have a lot of time for students ensuring they are learning in an environment where they are encouraged to push the boundaries and see what they are capable of in an enjoyable atmosphere.
